MEET THE PARTNERS
ALFONSO GUERRERO
Partner, Co-founder
Alfonso Guerrero started his career in the real estate sector in 1994 as Vice President and shareholder in PMI Group, a company dedicated to the construction of infrastructure projects and developments in Mexico, a position he held for seven years. In 2000 he founded Capital Solutions, an investment banking firm specializing in structuring and funding real estate projects, mergers, and acquisitions. Subsequently, Capital Solutions merged with IGS in 2007 to form IGS GROUP, a company managing real estate investment funds and real estate development in three major areas: Industrial, Commercial, and Housing. IGS currently manages foreign investment funds and issued in the Mexican stock exchange two CKD’s and was part of the placement of a REIT.
In 2009 he co-founded Urbanika to extend the reach of his team’s investment portfolio to the United States. To date, Mr. Guerrero’s companies have structured, funded, and operated real estate projects whose value is greater than $375,000,000 USD.
Mr. Guerrero has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he majored in Finance.
JORGE E. GARCIA
Partner, Co-founder
Jorge Garcia’s successful investment management experience spans 20 years and includes asset classes such as single-family, commercial, office, multifamily and restaurants. With consistent years of local growth, Mr. Garcia consolidated his real estate projects and assets of his predecessor companies into an integrated real estate development and investment company. The company has expanded; it has added real estate brokerage, construction, recycling, and fabrication companies to vertically generate value for its investor partners. Throughout this growth, Mr. Garcia has ensured to retain the human capital at each company while maintaining an active role in each to ensure their operational success. As of 2023, Mr. Garcia and his team deliver consistent results to dozens of investment partners from several countries throughout the world.
